MILWAUKEE — My, how things change. One short week ago, the Brewers were fresh off of a series win against the “hapless” Blue Jays. The Brewers were clearly the better team, winning two blowouts and losing one extra inning game.
Since then, the Brewers have gone 1-5 while the Blue Jays have gone 4-4. It’s the Blue Jays who are in third place, the Brewers in sixth.
Yet, maybe it’s another match-up with the Blue Jays that the Brewers, struggling to find momentum, need right now.
It should be noted that it is raining today in Milwaukee and officials consider it unlikely that a game will be played. Immediately following a day off, this is not what the Brewers need right now.
