His best years were in an A’s uniform, but Brewers fans will remember Bando fondly for years to come, we’re sure!
Card of the Day
Card of the Day: 1982 Donruss Larry Hisle
If he’d just stay healthy, maybe he can return to what he did in the late 70s. He looked great this spring!
Card of the Day: 1982 Topps Rickey Keeton
Keeton was drafted as a third-round pick in 1978 and appeared to have some promise. After two less than stellar stints with the big club, the Brewers shipped him in October of last year to the Houston Astros for a big reliever named Pete Ladd. Think we’ll see him?
Card of the Day: 1982 Topps Reggie Cleveland
Beard? Check! Thick Coke bottle glasses? Check! Named Reggie? Check! You just don’t get any cooler than Reggie Cleveland.
Card of the Day: 1982 Topps Thad Bosley
Don’t remember Thad Bosley as a Brewer? Bosley played 42 games for the Brewers in 1981 and was traded to the Mariners a month ago — in March for the immortal Mike Parrott (who was cut from camp). But you’ve gotta love that afro!
Card of the Day: 1982 Topps Larry Hisle
We have high hopes for Larry, but he’s been a shell of his former self from 1979 until now. Still, most fans will remember Hisle for his work during the 1977 and 1978 All-Star seasons.
