Card of the Day
Card of the Day: 1982 Topps Stickers Rollie Fingers #16
I no longer have the 1982 Topps Stickers book, but I believe this one went on the page for award winners. Hence, the stylish red, white and blue borders. LOVE the mustache shot here.
Card of the Day: 1982 Donruss Charlie Moore
Moore has been the consummate team player, filling in wherever and whenever the Brewers need him. He was second on the team in average last season, hitting .301.
Card of the Day: 1982 Fleer Cecil Cooper
Ugh. More batting practice in the baby blues. Coop’s annoyed by the lack of originality by the Fleer photographer.
Card of the Day: 1982 Fleer Roy Howell
Howell openly complained about his role early in the season, despite being outplayed by Molitor at 3B and Money at DH. Months later, we appear to be stuck with him.
Card of the Day: 1982 Topps Pete Vuckovich
Vuke went 6-0 last May, en route to a sparkling 14-4 debut with the Brewers in a strike-shortened 1981 season.
